Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 1, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Take Twenty Mind Body Soul website. By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These Terms govern website use. They do not replace a separate proposal, service agreement, booking policy, informed consent, health or safety questionnaire, participant waiver, venue agreement, or other document that may apply to a specific consultation, session, collaboration, or event. If a specific written service agreement conflicts with these Terms, the specific agreement controls for that service.
1. Website Purpose
This website provides general information about Take Twenty, sound healing, complementary wellness practices, available experiences, and ways to contact or schedule with us. Website content is offered for general educational and informational purposes.
2. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer
Take Twenty's sound-healing experiences are complementary wellness services intended to support relaxation, mindfulness, reflection, and general well-being. The term “sound healing” describes a wellness practice; it does not mean that Take Twenty provides medical treatment or guarantees a medical or clinical outcome.
Take Twenty is not providing medical care, mental health treatment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, physical therapy, or emergency services through this website or through a general sound-healing experience. Website content and services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, injury, or health condition and are not a substitute for advice or care from a qualified licensed health professional.
Individual experiences and responses vary. Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of information on this website. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, use an implanted medical device, have hearing or sensory sensitivities, or have another concern about participating, consult an appropriate licensed health professional and contact Take Twenty about reasonable accommodations before booking. During an experience, stop participating and notify the facilitator if you feel unwell or uncomfortable.
This website is not monitored for emergencies. In a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911 or contact an appropriate emergency service.
3. Services, Consultations, and Bookings
Service descriptions, prices, availability, locations, durations, and guest capacities may change. A website inquiry or complimentary consultation does not guarantee availability, reserve a date, or create a binding service agreement.
A service is confirmed only after Take Twenty provides written confirmation and any required agreement, payment, deposit, or other booking requirement has been completed. Cancellation, rescheduling, travel, venue, participant, and payment terms may be provided in a separate proposal or booking agreement.
You agree to provide accurate information that is reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry or to administer a requested service. Services involving a minor must be arranged by a parent, legal guardian, school, organization, or other authorized responsible adult, subject to any participation requirements Take Twenty establishes.
4. No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, spiritual, therapeutic, or other result. Statements from guests, testimonials, and descriptions of possible experiences reflect individual experiences and are not promises that another person will have the same result.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the original text, branding, graphics, photographs, videos, audio, page arrangement, and other content created or owned by Take Twenty are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Third-party platform components, licensed assets, and third-party names or marks remain the property of their respective owners.
You may view and share links to public website pages for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, create derivative works from, remove ownership notices from, or commercially exploit protected website content without prior written permission from the applicable owner.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use the website to:
violate any law or another person's rights;
submit false, misleading, unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, or malicious content;
impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems, or data;
introduce malware or interfere with website operation or security;
scrape, harvest, or collect information through automated means without written permission; or
use website content to create a competing commercial product or service without authorization.
7. Information You Submit
You retain ownership of information or materials you submit. You authorize Take Twenty and its service providers to use, store, and transmit that information only as reasonably necessary to respond, schedule, provide a requested service, maintain appropriate records, protect legal rights, or comply with law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share. Take Twenty will not publish your name, image, testimonial, or private feedback for promotional purposes without permission.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including Squarespace and Calendly. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that provider's own terms and privacy notice. Take Twenty does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.
9. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
10. Website Accuracy and Availability
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all information will always be complete, error-free, or current. We may correct errors, update content, change offerings, suspend features, or discontinue any part of the website without notice.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, complete security, or that website content will meet every visitor's needs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Take Twenty and its owner, employees, contractors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on its general content.
This limitation does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any assumption-of-risk, release, or liability terms concerning participation in a particular service will be addressed in a separate service or participant agreement where appropriate.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, disputes relating to these Terms or the website will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction serving Prince George's County, Maryland.
14. Severability and No Waiver
If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the website after an update means that the revised Terms apply to your later use.
